MAESTRA

the EMCEE

"It's the TEACHER: mistake me for a PREACHER... I wish a rapper would step outta line: I beseech ya."

The creation of music is a sacred art as there is a sort of energy that yields the potential to build, destroy and break barriers.  With every phrase and every tune, an artist can alter reality or reveal it's obscured truths.  When music is coming from the heart, the listener can feel the presence of the creator's spirit telling them "I too have been where you are, and we win in the end."

So let us rock the stage.

Let us sing until our diaphragms give out.

All of this for love.

All You Gotta Do is LOVE

Dear Listener,

Things may not get better, but you will.  In the struggle there is art, and you can become a masterpiece all by playing your part.

Arthur O'Shaughnessy proclaimed, "We are the music-makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams."  We have the power to teach the mind, heal the soul and change the heart with the power of our words.

We can demonstrate and live the change we want to see.  We can make it cool to save lives and better our communities, our homes.  The world is watching and the youth is listening.  What are we going to do with our gift?

Sincerely,

Maestra
